ASTON MARTIN BRAND-NEW TWIN-TURBO
A long expected new twin-turbo, 503bhp V8 super coupe, the Aston Martin Vantage is a little engineering jewel costing 120,900 pounds in its inborn UK market.
The new Vantage is, above all, an ultra-modern supercar specially destined to young, sporty and sophisticated clients. Its futuristic, beautifully aggressive silhouette will be painted with new, bold colors like, for example, an unusual yellow-green Lime Essence.
“The design story continues inside the Vantage, with a dynamic and focused sports car cockpit that rejects long, fluid curves in favor of sharp, focused lines denoting the more aggressive nature of the car,” explains the company.
This, as well, gives to this eight-speed automatic gearbox and real-wheel drive vehicle a unique allure which has already seduced the specialized press as well as future clients.
THE GORGEOUS “BEAST” OF ITS SEGMENT
A “beast”. A “hunter”. “Pure energy”. The best automotive sector’s journalists have already fallen in love with the new Aston Vantage.
Often compared to an animal for the car’s flick in the tail and the vehicle’s low front, this supercar is also incredibly fast, just like a predator in action.
According to Aston Martin – a British manufacturer of grand tourers and luxury sports cars, founded in 1913 by Robert Bamford and Lionel Martin – the intrepid Vantage weights (if devoid of fuel and fluids) 1,230 kilograms, and can go from 0 to 62 mph in only 3.5 seconds. Its Mercedes-AMG-designed 503bhp twin-turbo V8 engine actually allows it to reach a maximum speed of 195mph.
Moreover, the new Aston Martin Vantage is endowed with an electronic back differential in order to direct power to the rear wheels for drivers’ extra pleasure when the car gets sideways.
“It speaks volumes for the outgoing Vantage that it is the single most successful model in Aston Martin’s history. Creating a worthy successor has been a challenge to relish and a huge source of motivation,” Andy Palmer, Aston Martin chief executive officer, explains to the press.
