Less potent than the Turbo version, the Porsche Panamera GTS “resurfaces” in terms of grit and behavior on the road: it has a more sporty look and improved trim to make it more fun in the curves. These are the main features of the GTS, a variant equipped with the eight-cylinder engine of the Panamera Turbo, although revised to develop 45 hp less: it delivers 460. The performance is still a reference, because the Panamera GTS snaps from 0 to 100 km / h in 4.1 seconds and reaches the maximum speed of 292 km / h. Included in the price is included the Sport Chrono package, which includes the Launch Control for burning accelerations without skating.
The Porsche Panamera GTS is also equipped with four-wheel drive, the automatic eight-speed clutch and adaptive suspension, operated by software modified in sports. The technicians of the German house have also changed the height from the ground, lowered by 1 cm, with the aim of making the set-up of the Porsche Panamera GTS less touristy and yielding. The brake discs are increased: in front they measure 39 cm, behind 36.5 cm. The novelties for the style also stand out, thanks to the 20 “wheels and a series of exterior details painted in black, such as the transverse supports behind the front trim and the side strips under the doors. Inside there are sports seats in Alcantara, the multi-function sports steering wheel and the aluminum pedals, while in option you can order more ringing paints (also red) and change the background color of the tachometer and the shade of the GTS lettering on the seats .
Included in the price of the Porsche Panamera GTS there is also a new head-up display, which projects essential information on the windscreen (speed, navigator maps) without forcing the driver to take his eyes off the road. Optional rear steering wheels. The GTS set-up is also available for the Panamera Sport Turismo, the station wagon variant with the tailgate and a more usable boot.
