Porsche Macan has made some custom upgrades
The “signature” common to all new Porsche is the horizontal motif to join the rear lights, a detail that is found on the Cayenne, Panamera and soon on the new 911. This particular is also taken up by the renewed Porsche Macan, exhibited in preview here at Paris Motor Show, which receives the traditional mid-career update to keep up with the latest rivals such as the Alfa Romeo Stelvio, BMW X4 and Jaguar F-Pace. The Macan 2018 also changes to the front, where the mask and the redesigned bumpers make it look like this average suv to the Cayenne: LED lights are provided from the first level of equipment, while you pay for the most advanced LED headlights Porsche Cynamic Light System Plus (PDLS), which regulate the light beam intelligently and do not dazzle those driving in the opposite direction. The fog lamps, which are also LEDs, are integrated into the headlights. On the renewed Porsche Macan there are also new 20 “and 21” wheels, four new colors and a more substantial innovation inside, where a new Porsche multimedia system arrives. To insert it in the central cabinet the technicians of the German house had to move the “climate” vents under the screen, while before they were on the sides. Combined with the PCM multimedia system, there is now the Connect Plus internet connection module, which enriches satellite navigation data with real-time traffic information. Among the innovations of the Porsche Macan 2018 there are also the heated windshield, an ionizer to improve indoor air quality and the sports steering wheel with the integrated Sport Response Button, a feature to achieve maximum engine performance for about 20 seconds.
On the safety front, the adaptive speed regulator, the driving assistance system in operation up to 60 km / h, which controls the brake, throttle, steering and controls the Porsche Macan’s gear in traffic and traffic lanes. The German company has not yet announced in full the range of engines, which should all be gasoline: the first to arrive is the four-cylinder turbo 2.0 brought to 245 hp (for this version the price is 63.763 euros), but should be seen at short the V6 turbo 3.0 already seen on the Panamera, with 330 hp, and the V6 2.9 with 441 hp reserved for the Macan Turbo.
