At the famous event called ‘Los Angeles Motor Show’ (November 30-December 9), Porsche has released the first official teaser of the eighth generation of the 911. The Porsche 992 will debut in the world premiere during the Californian kermesse, probably in the classic versions of the launch Carrera and Carrera S which, following the commercial launch, will be followed by other models with even higher performances.
The short film just published on the social networks by the House of Zuffenhausen shows some details of the new sports coupe, starting from the LED headlights, obviously elliptical, up to the one that over the years has been a real signature identifying the Porsche 911, the side silhouette that has always made each of the seven generations of German sports immediately recognizable. Wide sides, sloping rear window and streamlined lines will also characterize the eighth edition of the two doors with cantilever rear engine. For the moment, the car manufacturer has not issued official information, but it seems clear that the flat six will remain in place and will be proposed, in different displacements, only in supercharged version. Finally, it can not be ruled out that sport can become, for the first time in its commercial history, also hybrid.
