One philosophy, three cars: sedan, coupé and suv. Mercedes-AMG has perfected its three sets of sports models for the most refined customers. The name of this new special series is Race Edition, which makes explicit the direction in which the AMG technicians have worked. A job done thinking of Italian customers, given that the three Race Editions are destined exclusively for our market. A beautiful homage made by Mercedes-AMG to the world of Italian fans of the brand: last year the Mercedes-AMG sold in Italy were more than 1000, out of a total of the house that has reached 132,000 units worldwide.
The three new Mercedes-AMG proposals are based on the three CLA 45 AMG, C Coupé 43 AMG and GLE Coupé 43 AMG models respectively, for which various enrichments have been designed to transform the cars in series into very special and exclusive cars. All this with a particularly interesting proposal regarding the price. The special versions and limited “Race Edition” are in fact offered at prices much lower than those that would be the prices of the series versions equipped with the same equipment chosen in the list of options.
The CLA 45 AMG Race Edition offers a range of equipment including the DYNAMIC PLUS package, consisting of the front differential locking device, the RIDE CONTROL sports suspension, the RACE driving program , and the steering wheel and the AMG Performance exhaust terminal. The body is painted in the specific color created for this special series, the Poligno Piccano Magno Designo. As for the exterior, the CLA 45 AMG Race Edition is set up with the Night AMG package, together with the Panorama roof and 19 “alloy wheels. The aspects related to the guide are similarly developed. The CLA 45 AMG Race Edition offers the Parking Pilot with Parktronic, COMAND Online and digital radio.
The Mercedes C 43 Coupé AMG Race Edition springs from the adoption on the C 43 AMG Coupé of various “packages”: the AMG Carbon, the Night Package, the 19 “wheels, the roof Panorama and body in Gray Selenite magno Designo color. The exhaust is perfected with the Performance solution that refines the rumble and optimizes power delivery. The same philosophy can be found in the passenger compartment, where there are carbon elements and the Track pace, in addition to the front seat memory package, the Digital radio, the Parking Assist with 360 ° camera and the Burmester Sound System Surround.
Finally, the Mercedes GLE Coupé 43 AMG becomes “Race Edition” with the adoption of the 22 “AMG wheels, Selenite Gray paint, Night Package, side footboards and Panorama roof. Inside there are the AMG carbon inserts and the Performance AMG steering wheel, while for what concerns the travel comfort on the Mercedes GLE Coupé 43 AMG Race Edition there are the Digital car radio, the Harman Kardon Sound System Surround and the KEYLESS -GO. Finally, for driving assistance there is the DISTRONIC, for active braking, the active Blind Spot Assist to avoid problems in the so-called “blind spot”, the anti-heel system and the PRE-SAFE PLUS. As on all AMGs, the ACTIVE CURVE SYSTEM is not lacking on the GLE Coupé 43 AMG Race Edition, capable of better controlling the roll.
