BMW iX3
First tests for this amazing electric SUV. Read the article below to find out more information about this car!
In Norway, the famous car maufacturer BMW has already opened iX3 orders, but until today it has only shown the concept. The project is being tested, as shown by these spy shots taken in Germany: the first deliveries are scheduled only in 2020, while the production is entrusted to the joint venture with the Chinese Brilliance.
The new BMW iX3 comes from the BMW X3, but adopts a 100% electric powertrain. To distinguish it from the other versions, have been made some particular design changes, which seem to be direct from the concept without major differences to the standard product. On the forklift you can notice the changes to the bumper and the mask, even if the double kidney is not completely closed and is only partially covered by the grids. At the rear, the exhaust terminals disappear logically and a new bumper is adopted, with a sticker that confirms the electrical nature of the powertrain.
According to preliminary data, the BMW iX3 should adopt the new generation of electric powertrain of the BMW group, with a power of 270 hp and an autonomy of about 400 km thanks to the new 70 kWh batteries with rapid recharge at 150 kW. The range is already calculated according to the new and more rigorous wltp cycle, while the performance is not yet known: however, the data still refer to the concept car and may vary in view of the mass production.
