Tomorrow, November 28, at the opening day of the Los Angeles Motor Show, Audi will unveil the new e-tron GT, a concept car that will prefigure a future four high-performance electric doors. After announcing the prototype debut at the annual budget conference, the German manufacturer issued a side image of the camouflaged car and a video teaser that reveals some of the concept’s style details.
The third model of the e-tron family will debut on the market in 2020 as the first four electric doors of the House of Ingolstadt. The electric sedan will have wonderful sports lines and a fully electric powertain that will guarantee high performance: the design will be taken care of directly by Audi Sport that will use this new model to enter a new era with zero emissions. The production version of the e-tron GT will be assembled in Germany at the Böllinger Höfe plant in Heilbronn, where all the R8 and models of the RS family are born, a few kilometers away from the Neckarsulm factory.
In thenew teaser the company shows some very interesting details of the electric sedan, starting from the silhouette up to the Led optical groups. At the rear the headlights, connected by a thin LED strip, will resume the setting of the latest models of the Four Rings, while the front of the concept will propose a different approach to the models currently in production. Judging from the video, the silhouette will evolve the four-door coupe lines of the Audi A7, offering a slimmer front bonnet and a more muscular tail.
