Are you ready for Parco Valentino 2018?
The 2018 edition of the Parco Valentino is coming.
From 6 to 10 June, the Piedmontese capital will serve as an evocative framework for a great party directed towards any motoring enthusiast, with over 40 car companies, more than a thousand supercars, one-offs, hypercars and a corollary of meetings, exhibitions and various events which will involve every corner of the city of Mole. The admission to the Parco Valentino is free, upon registration with an electronic ticket downloadable from the Turin Motor Show website. Next to the exhibition, which will take place along the avenues of the Parco Valentino, one of the many side events is represented by the exhibition of prototypes, a journey between the genius and creativity of pencils that have made some of the most iconic models . These prototypes include Lamborghini Miura, Lamborghini Countach by ASI Bertone, GTZero and Brera Prototype by Italdesign, Zonda HP Barchetta by Pagani, Ferrari Mythos, Ferrari Sergio, Lancia Florida II of 1957 and Sigma Grand Prix of 1969 by Pininfarina, Codatronca by Spadaconcept, RUF RK Spider and Porsche Moncenisio of Studiotorino.
As an addition to the main event there are also two important anniversaries. A great event will be organized on the occasion of Italdesign’s 50th anniversary. In the courtyard of the Castello del Valentino will be exposed some of the most famous models signed by the style center, including Fiat Panda, Volkswagen Golf, Mini, Maserati 3200, Alfa Romeo Brera, Audi TT. In the Piazza del Castello, however, the 70 Porsche will be celebrated with an exhibition, with rallies and a parade along the streets of the historic center. Nearby the courtyard will be the photographic exhibition entitled “A journey in the history of the automobile”, which traces the stylistic and engineering evolution of the four wheels: from Mercedes-Benz, born in 1886, to the latest models Tesla electric motors.
In the vicinity there is Piazza Vittorio Veneto, where the public will participate at the Ferrari red party, which will gather a selection of prestigious classics, along with the 8 and 12 cylinders that have made the history of the Maranello House. The same location, on Saturday, will host the Renault Floride Caravelle, a gathering of all the spiders of the French manufacturer, who will then parade along the streets of the center. The program for the Lancia Delta Integrali is the same, while the 70th anniversary of the Lotus will be celebrated with a meeting and exhibition of models of the brand.
